Westminster News from Paul Waugh

The Waugh Room

News, gossip and insight from PoliticsHome Editor Paul Waugh

Welcome to the Waugh Room

Welcome to my brand new blog at PoliticsHome.

It's going to feature all my usual mix of gossip, news and insights about Westminster, delivered at the speed of light (or optic fibre cable at least).

But it will be bigger and better than before, with new features, more links and other fun stuff to give you all a worm's eye view of Parliament.

The PoliticsHome.com site will also be changing over the next few months as we expand our reach and role as the country's leading political website.

The blog goes live from tonight (aptly enough, on November 5), but will get going in earnest from Monday.

You can email me at paul.waugh@politicshome.com or Tweet me at my usual Twitter address, @paulwaugh...

Looking forward to seeing the results of your new incarnation here. Is there going to be an rss feed for this blog?

Simon Castle

fingers crossed you keep your right wing bias under control, try and make yourself into a real journalist, not the lapdog of the tory party.

Anna

Nice new picture!

Simon

only just discovered you relatively recently on the Standard site, yours is easily amongst the best, and most balanced, political blogs around...the fact you write with a sense of humour doesn't hurt either...looking forward to following you on here

Paul Waugh

To Francis: Yes RSS will be set up soon. To Anna: thanks, anything was an improvement on my last one (bit too Arnolfini Marriage)! To Simon Castle: I think you must be confusing me with someone else. Read the other Simon below.

I have stopped visiting PolitcsHome because it seems to have acquired a slight left bias, I suppose with the Ashcroft connection they have to be seen to be unbiased and end up being biased! just like the beeb and skyIMO - I will dip in to check you out though!
