What with the new Meryl Streep as Maggie pix, today seems to be something of a 'celebs 'n' politics' day.
So, here's an exclusive pic (please credit if you re-use folks) of David Hasselhoff and David Cameron taken in the Commons this lunchtime. The Two Daves, you could call 'em.
The Hoff bumped into the PM as he was being given a guided tour of Parliament by Tory MP for Morecambe David Morris.
Mr Morris has his own celeb background, having been once in a band with Rick Astley (yes, you read that right) and narrowly missing the cut to join Duran Duran.
He's clearly still got a few showbiz contacts, however, as he has enlisted The Hoff as part of his campaign to restore Morecambe's Winter Gardens.
In recognition of his good efforts, the MP today showed the former Baywatch star round the House.
I met him just as he left. Curiously, he was carrying a plastic bag that contained his famous red Baywatch rescue float.
The Hoff was stopped for autographs by lots of staff and MPs as he moved through the estate. He caused quite a stir, prompting Tweets from Labour's Luciana Berger and others. It all reminded me of when Michael Jackson was last taken on a tour by Keith Vaz many moons (and moonwalks) ago.
How long will it be before Pamela Anderson is invited to the Commons...?

I overheard: David Cameron: "David what are you here for?" The Hoff: "I came to see you buddy!".

I think you will find that it was in fact Lord Janner of Braunstone who took Michael Jackson round Parliament. They had a mutual friend in Uri Geller. Paul (now Lord) Boateng was also there. Good times.
