Submission to expenses public consultation process

The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority is currently conducting its first year review of the parliamentary expenses scheme. IPSA launched a formal process for public consultation on 5 January 2011. The Speaker was invited as a statutory consultee under section 5 of the Parliamentary Standards Act 2009, to comment and he has submitted his comments to IPSA today. The submission is also published on the Parliamentary website and can be accessed from the link below.
