David Cameron speech: cutting the cost of politics

David Cameron today announced new proposals to reduce ministerial salaries by 5%, cut the ministerial car pool and abolish subsidised food and drink in parliament. He also stressed that reducing the budget deficit was key to improvement in the economy.
