Another bad hair day for Andrew Lansley

Another bad hair day for Andrew Lansley

At the start of a week where Andrew Lansley is bound to be under pressure for his proposed reforms to the NHS, the last thing he needed was a hair-related crisis.

However Simon Burns has this morning had to issue an apology about his pricing of...a wig.

"The Minister of State, Department of Health (Mr Simon Burns): I regret there was an error in my written statement issued on 4 March, Official Report, cols 49-50ws. The cost of a full bespoke human hair wig was given as £239.65. The correct cost is £239.45."

Mr Lansley will not be too worried however, as last year he pledged £70million to help those suffering from hair loss, and he could always refer to this document.
