McNulty apologises to the Commons

Tony McNulty has told MPs that he accepts findings by Parliament's standards watchdog for claims he made on a property in which his parents lived - he apologised unreservedly to MPs after being ordered to repay £13,837 of expenses.

This man is like all the other politicians caught with their fingers in the till - unworthy of public office and should either stand down or be removed.  He is only paying back a fraction of what he stole.  He, like all the others - Jackie Smith and Elliott Morley to name just two - should be prosecuted.  I would be prosecuted if I had embezzled on this scale.
