Perry's very Oops moment

Perry's very Oops moment

Oh dear. Shades of our very own Lord Pearson from permatanned professional Texan Rick Perry.

Perhaps commit to memory those public bodies you wish to do away with, governor.

UPDATE: In an email sent to supporters, team Perry urges potential voters to forgive this "human moment" and suggest federal agencies they would like to see eliminiated.

To whit: "Rick Perry forgot the third agency he wants to eliminate. Just goes to show there are too damn many federal agencies. The governor said it best afterwords: "I'm glad I had my boots on, because I sure stepped in it tonight.

"While the media froths over this all too human moment, we thought we would take this opportunity to ask your help in doing something much more constructive: write us to let us know what federal agency you would most like to forget."

Dot is adament Mr Perry will be relieved to find that dog poo collection is not looked after by Washington and therefore does not have a federal public body in charge - for the next time he "steps in it".
