Spinning happiness

Dear old Alastair Campbell may be off the front lines these days but by god he still knows how to work the press. A seemingly innocuous comment  praising David Cameron for embracing the politics of happiness was out-of-character enough (praising the Tories!?) to net Alistair an article in today's Indy - which is rather a brilliant promotional tool for his new e-book, which just so happens to be about...happiness.

Not all the comments on the article were too positive. In response to Alastair's "there is something profoundly non-Conservative at the heart of what Cameron is proposing", one wag responded: "There is something profoundly Conservative at the heart of how Mr Campbell is thinking...spin, spin, spin...".
