Nick Clegg is the cover star of this week's issue of The House Magazine. In an exclusive interview, the deputy prime minister discusses the possible return of David Laws to the government, the future of the coalition, his plans for House of Lords reform, and how he decides to smile, or not, at PMQs. The magazine also contains interviews with UKIP leader Nigel Farage, outspoken as ever, and Lord Bhattacharyya, the former manufacturing guru to both Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair. With lobbying in the spotlight, the House features an article by Tony Wright, the former chairman of the Public Adminstration Committee, who is far from impressed with the government's efforts to introduce a statutory register, while former Cabinet Secetary Lord Butler attempts to tackle the ongoing problem of badly written legislation. Look out too for the first of Wall Street Journal's Iain Martin's columns, a preview of the return of the Health and Social Care bill to the House of Lords, and a special focus on the government's attempts to tackle youth unemployment.
