Latest from Dot Commons
Mark Hoppus, bassist and vocalist for pop punk band Blink-182, was in Parliament today as a guest of Nigel Adams. The Selby and Ainsty MP looked pleased as punch as he showed off his famous guest in the Member's Lobby after PMQs and later in the Member's Dining Room. Dot managed to catch a word with the American heart-throb, who revealed that he has been living in London since last year and thinks it, and Parliament, are "beautiful". He enjoyed the knockabout at PMQs too. But how does Nigel know Mark? It seems the rock star is to be a judge of Mike Weatherley's Rock the House contest. Mr Weatherley's close relationship with the music industry has led to visits to Parliament from the likes of Alice Cooper and Charlie from Busted. Something for all tastes.
