Simon gets Burnt

It's a tough job defending the health reforms at the moment, but minister Simon Burns is not exactly helping matters with his, ahem, unique interpretation of the English language - Dot will leave it to her readers to decide who has the upper hand between Simon and wily old Scot Andrew Neil.
BURNS “If you talk to them [health professionals], you’ll find they’re far more enthusiastic that you’ve been led to believe by press and blog comment”
NEIL “That, as I say again, minister, is only anecdotal evidence.”
BURNS “It’s not anecdotal if you’re actually meeting them and talking to them”
NEIL “I understand, Mr Burns...Well, that’s anecdotal – just meeting and talking. It’s not scientific. If I meet and talk to people, it’s anecdotal. It may be right it may be wrong. But the evidence overwhelmingly suggests that you’ve not carried the health professionals with you..”
