Every time the local elections come round, the question is always - what is a good result? Different experts come out of the woodwork claiming to know what was "widely expected" and measuring the results against expectations.
This year, as the results come in, you don't have to listen to one expert or another: we have surveyed the Phi100 panel - the leading UK survey of insider and expert political opinion, consisting of 100 of the top political brains in the country - and taken an average of their expectations. In each case, we asked for a lowball and highball expectation - the results show the range of expectation.
Download our quick check card to see whether the results for each party are better or worse than expected.
A results card for the European Elections will be published shortly.
