It’s been a bad couple of weeks for Ken Livingstone as he has come under constant fire over his tax arrangements and got involved in a row in a lift with his mayoral rival Boris Johnson. Today however, things have got worse for the Labour candidate, as a new Evening Standard poll found him six points behind Boris with Londoners, and the astonishing revelation from Ladbrokes that they have not taken a single bet on Livingstone over the past week.
There was better news for independent candidate Siobhan Benita however, whose odds have been slashed from 200/1 to 66/1 to become the company’s third favourite ahead of Brian Paddick.
