Clegg warns parties on 'masochistic' cuts

Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg has warned the two other major parties that he will not support them after the general election if they try to make significant cuts in public spending.

 

Mr Clegg later added he would not support plans to cut public spending immediately after the general election in the event of a hung parliament.
