Michael Gove's interview in the Daily Mail is a great read, not least on his own upbringing and home life.
But he also has a pay-off that combines sympathy with his trademark sense of mischief:
"Huhne is remarkable. He appeared to be a nerveless vicar, one of those people who was never burdened by self-doubt and who could take on all-comers.
"Now people will remember him only for the fall; from having been a few places away from being Deputy Prime Minister to suddenly being in Brixton nick."
After today, it looks like the Education Secretary will have to wait a little longer for that Brixton moment.
