  • Dementia care 'unacceptable'

    There is an “unacceptable gap” in dementia care between different institutions, a report from the Care Quality Commission has found. Nine out of ten homes and hospitals inspected were deemed to have at least one aspect of poor care, meaning most patients are likely to experience substandard treatment at some point.
