Euro Elections: The Results Card

Check the results as they come in against expectations

Following on from the Local Elections results card, from which PoliticsHome was able to analyse the results against expectations, we are now publishing the Euro elections results card.

We asked the Phi100 panel - the UK's leading survey of insider and expert political opinion, including commentators, academics and senior MPs of all the main parties - to say what their predictions were for each of the parties expected to pick up seats at the European elections.

The card shows the range of expectations, and is designed as a guide to interpret the incoming results against expectations. Download the PDF by clicking HERE or on the image below:

If you add the midpoints of the expected ranges it suggests a net gain of 2.5 extra seats for the UK is expected.

Not even Political Home fair hand is enough to include the SNP as part of a comparative study of expected and real results in the Euro-elections.

Go figure...but do no count on us not supporting indepence from you lot.
