Business and Enterprise minister Mark Prisk has written to Vince Cable expressing his concerns that the introduction of local economic partnerships to promote growth could be a “failure in large parts of England”. In a letter obtained by The Times, Mr Prisk says the coalition policy has caused “strong concerns” among business leaders and could be “in danger of failing to aid economic growth”.
