Court to rule on Woolas election

Court to rule on Woolas election
Conservative chairman Baroness Sayeeda Warsi has written to Harriet Harman demanding to know who in the Labour party sanctioned Phil Woolas campaign literature. Labour has suspended Mr Woolas after judges ruled he had deliberately made false claims about Liberal Democrat opponent Elwyn Watkins in May's general election. Labour leader Ed Miliband has said the court ruling was a "salutary reminder to all politicians" about the need to play fair in electoral politics, while Ms Harman has also condemned Mr Woolas.
