Gordon Brown this morning denied doing anything to undermine Alistair Darling - the chancellor last night said that Downing Street and the Tories unleashed "the forces of hell" after he forecast the worst recession for 60 years in a 2008 interview.

From the Tories or any opposition that should have been expected, that's the nature of British politics. But No. 10 should have been supportive as it was a problem created under the watchful eye of Mr Gordon Brown.

So is this a continuation of the bullying story? After all the people who briefed against Darling operated within an atmosphere created by their boss. Or is it more politicing? Is this really an attack on Balls in an attempt to oust him from the cabinet, or limit any leadership attempt by him after the election?

I wouldnt believe a word that Brown said if he stood on a stack of bible`s on his parents grave. sorry he`s told too many porkies, and further how can anyone believe that Mandleson creature the guys a fraudster and a liar, and why is he aloud on the front bench in parliament he is not a member no one has voted him into government?
