Labour MPs tell Miliband: get a grip
Pressure is mounting on Ed Miliband as his own MPs have begun openly criticising his leadership.

Graham Stringer attacked Mr Miliband for his failure to sack Diane Abbott over her "divide and rule" Twitter comments: "I don’t think on issues such as race we should look as hypocritical or as incompetent as Liverpool FC has done in the Luis Suarez case. Ed has got to get a grip and turn it around before the May elections."

Tottenham MP David Lammy also acknowledged Labour's difficulties, telling the Andrew Marr Show this morning: 2I think we all have to do better in the Labour party frankly."

However his shadow cabinet colleague Chuka Umunna defended Mr Miliband, telling Sky's Murnaghan programme it was "absolutely absurd" to suggest he would not be leader a year from now.
