Police intelligence 'deleted' by investigators
Private investigators with links to organised crime gangs accessed and deleted police intelligence records, a leaked report shown to Channel 4 News has revealed. The report by the Serious Organised Crime Agency warned the Home Office that investigators were using corrupt serving and ex-officers to delete files from the national police computer and other databases, and also to access details of police operations.
