Concerns over aid pledge
Campaigners have expressed concern that a law ringfencing the amount of money spent on international development could be dropped in the Queen's speech. Shadow International Development Secretary Ivan Lewis has written to his counterpart Andrew Mitchell to remind him of the Government's promise to ringfence the budget at 0.7% of the Government's income.
