Taylor found guilty of war crimes
Charles Taylor has been found guilty of aiding and abetting war crimes by a court in The Hague. The former Liberian leader will be sentenced on May 30 and will serve any custodial sentence in Britain. The judges’ decision relates to the Sierra Leone civil war and has been welcomed by human rights groups.
