Public sector pay freeze planned

Public sector pay freeze planned
Gordon Brown has promised that he will not let Britain down in his efforts to support and reform the economy. In a major economic speech, he announced a pay freeze for top civil servants, NHS consultants, GPs, judges and senior military personnel that he claims will save £3bn by 2013-14.

Brown refuses to admit it was his profligacy that led this country into recession totally unprepared. Brown refusal to accept responsibility for anything, especially the economy (after 10 years as Chancellor) beggars belief. He is the most dysfunctional politician of all time. Thankfully only 58 days left till a General Election.

Who in their right mind would believe yet another lie from this deceitful, insincere, incompetent pychopath?

Jon

'I won't let you down...' The UK is the last economy in the G20 to leave recession and is now witnessing one of the weakest recoveries in the industrialised world (£200bn QE = 0.1% grwoth) Our budget deficit is the highest of any developed country. One in five of our young people cannot find work. It did not start in America and it is not a Global recession anymore. Lax regulation and spend spend spend. 13 years of mismanagement and absolutely no policies to get us out of it apart from print more money. I am off to buy a wheelbarrow.

Russell

Labour have Gerrymandered and Bribed the electorate throughout their tender. So it does not matterto many of them whether they believe Brown or not they will vote for the "CASH"

Striker Lite

' I won't let you down ' coming from Brown must be the most fatuous political statement since Neville Chamberlain's ' Peace in our time ' !

emj

Another Conservative policy pinched! Why don't you do the Conservatives some service, and mention it? Brown seems to get away with this plagiarism with impunity.
