Vince Cable has refused to rule out running for leader of the Liberal Democrats in the future, claiming the "worship of youth" is subsiding.
In an interview with the Financial Times, the Business Secretary insisted his leader Nick Clegg was "doing a good job", but kept his options open about any future vacancy: "I don’t exclude it – who knows what might happen in the future."
