Govt in top secret court claims
Seven new court claims involving sensitive national security information have been filed against the Government this year, the Cabinet Office has said, in an attempt to demonstrate why secret courts are necessary.

The information has been released ahead of a House of Lords vote this month on whether courts should expand the use of "closed material" proceedings.
