Clegg in flexi-time bid

Clegg in flexi-time bid
Nick Clegg is to announce measures to extend flexible working hours to employees, in a bid to help more women with children back into work.

The Deputy Prime Minister will insist he intends to "sweep away the clapped-out rules that make no sense for modern families in a modern economy". Under the new measures, all employees with 26 weeks' continuous service with their employer will be allowed to ask for flexible working hours.
