Moran guilty verdict
The former Labour MP Margaret Moran has been found guilty of falsely claiming more than £53,000 in expenses.

A jury at Southwark Crown Court found that she had committed 15 counts of false accounting and six counts of using a false instrument over the claims for parliamentary expenses.

Among the false claims, the court had heard that she made a dry rot claim of £22,500 by "flipping" her two homes.

The former Luton South MP was deemed unfit to stand trial.
