Syrian refugees face winter without support
Millions fleeing Syria will face the coming winter without support after the worsening violence forces aid agencies to abandon parts of the country. The UN's refugee agency has withdrawn staff from areas previously regarded as safe, while the humanitarian crisis is growing. Latest Red Crescent estimates suggest at least 2.5 million people are in need of emergency aid.
