Cable 'sabre rattling' compromises BIS - Umunna
Shadow Business Secretary Chuka Umunna has criticised Vince Cable, whose Whitehall "sabre rattling" he argues has "compromised" the Business department. In a speech to Aston University business school last night, Mr Umunna said: "People I speak to in government tell me that Vince Cable's sabre rattling – his 'opposition within' persona – has compromised the ability of BIS to work productively across Whitehall." Mr Cable dismissed his speech as "half-baked".
