John Lewis's managing director Andy Street has called for a look at the way foreign multinational companies pay tax in the UK, arguing that UK companies are not competing on a level playing field. On Sky News' Jeff Randall Live show, Mr Street said companies in tax havens "out-invest and ultimately out-trade" businesses paying full taxes, and called for a look at the "principle" that underpins where earnings are taxed.
