Boyle slams 'outrageous' Miller
Olympics opening ceremony director Danny Boyle has launched a scathing attack on the Government’s treatment of the arts, accusing Maria Miller of ignoring British theatre. Speaking to the Guardian, Mr Boyle said theatres across the country were under threat because of public spending cuts, describing the Culture Secretary’s lack of attention to the problem as “outrageous” and "a disgrace".
