MPs call on IPSA head to quit
MPs have called on the head of the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) Sir Ian Kennedy to quit, following a decision by the Speaker to force members of IPSA reapply for their jobs. Conservative MP Charles Walker, a member of the Speaker’s committee which agrees funding for IPSA, has questioned why Sir Ian was continuing as chair, while another member of the Committee, Sir Bob Russell, also said he should consider his position.
