Obama visits Burma
Barack Obama has urged Burma to "seize the opportunity" to reform, as he became the first sitting US president to visit the country.
In a speech in Burma's largest city Rangoon, the President pledged to do all he could to keep Burma "on the road to democracy".
“Your country will be stronger because of many different cultures but you have to seize that opportunity...
"Every human being within these boarders is part of your nation’s story and you should embrace that. It’s not a source of weakness it’s a source of strength if you recognise it."
Mr Obama met both the President Thein Sein and democracy campaigner Aung San Suu Kyi on the landmark visit intended to support the reforms implemented by the Burmese President after the end of military rule in November 2010.
