MPs criticise 'hesitant' Ofgem
The energy regulator should be less "hesitant" to investigate breaches of its code, MPs on the Energy and Climate Change Committee have said.

The MPs said the six largest energy suppliers took advantage of customer inertia, which led to overcharging, and difficulties for new competitors.

Consumer group Which? said Government plans to regulate energy tariffs were "doomed to fail" and that more radical action was needed.
