Well-off 'should donate fuel payments' - minister
Well-off pensioners who do not need their winter fuel payment should donate the money to good causes, the Charities Minister has said.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, Nick Hurd insisted the Government would "stick to its commitment" not to cut the benefit, but said he would "support, congratulate and encourage" anyone who gave their annual payment away.
