UKIP youth chair sacked

UKIP youth chair sacked
UKIP has sacked the chair of its youth wing after he made comments about gay marriage and the European Parliament elections.

Olly Neville revealed an email where he appeared to be told the party's opposition to gay marriage was "very important" to the party and that he was in danger of undermining it.

He had also stressed the importance of elections to the Westminster parliament, which he was told appeared to undermine the party's standing, as it has no MPs.

A number of other members of UKIP's Young Independents have resigned in protest.
