Labour lead shrinks
Labour's poll lead has slipped from eight to five points, a survey suggests.
The figures see the Tory party increasing their share by one point to 33%, with Labour being squeezed from 40% to 38%.
The Liberal Democrats clawed back ground, inching from two to 15%, while UKIP slipped back from its record showing of seven per cent to six percent.
In less positive news for the Tories, the Guardian/ICM poll also shows a large majority of people think the Government's benefits cap is "unfair".
