PM to make Mid Staffs statement

PM to make Mid Staffs statement
The Prime Minister will make a Commons statement on the scandal-hit Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust tomorrow.

David Cameron will address the House himself, having met families affected by the hospital scandal at Number 10 last night.

Tomorrow's Mid Staffs public inquiry report is expected to make a damning critique of the institutional failings throughout the NHS.

On the eve of publication, The Patients Association says each patient complaint should be viewed as a "learning opportunity" for the NHS.
