PCC elections 'failed'
Nearly 90% of people still do not know who their police and crime commissioner is after last year’s “chaotic” elections, a new report has found.

The Electoral Reform Society said the November vote had “failed both candidates and voters alike” after the record-low turnouts. The group recommended future elections not be held in the winter, and said voters must not be “left in the dark” about the choice of candidates.
