Benefit change 'descending into farce'
The Government’s plans to introduce an under-occupancy charge for social housing are “descending into farce”, Labour have claimed.

Writing for Central Lobby this morning, Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary Liam Byrne accuses ministers of “burying their heads in the sand” amid mounting criticism of what Labour call the ‘bedroom tax’. “Ministers must now admit they have got this horribly wrong and think again – before it’s too late,” he says.
