Poll shows tightening race
There is just a 3 point gap between Labour and the Tories in the most recent Populus poll for the Times. The Conservatives are down three on 36%, and Labour are up one on 33%. The Lib Dems are unchanged on 21%. A ComRes poll for ITV news and the Independent shows the Tory lead down to 5 points, although the YouGov's daily tracker for the Sun shows a lead of 8 points.

Little Angussie

Have we become such a docile mass of dumbed down electorate that we believe all the scaremongering from Brown. What is happening to the country? The man has taken us to ruin and I am now starting to worry that we are giving him the keys to wreak another 5 year term of destruction on us. Mind you - if we elect Brown again, we deserve all the broken promises and poverty which will surely visit us all!

Bobby

I just cannot believe the public will vote for Brown. He really has created a client state. He really has bought off the electorate. If people vote for this monster, they deserve the country they end up with. Heaven help the rest of us.
