IFS: Severe cuts necessary
The Institute for Fiscal Studies has warned that in order to meet election promises the Conservatives will have to make the most severe cuts since the second world war, and Labour and the Liberal Democrats the harshest since the 1980s. The body also says all parties will have to raise taxes further.

Presumably everyone thinks we're too stupid to know that the IFS is a left wing "think tank" and isn't likely to have a very balanced view of Tory proposals. You'll be telling us next what the Smith Institute thinks about the Tory policies.
