Mandelson: Clegg told Brown to go

Nick Clegg demanded Gordon Brown resign as prime minister as a condition of any Labour-Liberal Democrat coalition, Lord Mandelson has claimed in the serialisation of his memoirs. The former business secretary says that Tony Blair also told Mr Brown he could not stay.

Your usual slant! This story shows a thoroughly nasty piece of work, repeatedly embraced by the Labour party. It says more about the disgusting nature of the failed government than it does about Mandelson himself. Any party that can repeatedly employ in the highest office such a completely immoral man is itself beyond trust. What were Balls, the Millibands, and the others doing stomaching such a colleague. THEY are not fit for office
