Miliband 'soap opera' attacked
Lord Kinnock has reiterated his criticism of Peter Mandelson’s intervention into the Labour leadership race. Speaking on BBC World at One, He said "the focus of this campaign should be in the challenge of the present” and agreed with Ed Balls that the contest was at risk of becoming a ‘soap opera’. With ballot papers to start arriving with members tomorrow, Ed Miliband’s campaign manager Sadiq Khan described him as the “change candidate” while Alan Johnson compared David Miliband to football manager Jose Mourinho by calling him “the special one”.
