In order to ensure our work is evidence based, we keep up-to-date with current policy and research. Alongside this we conduct our own research and information-gathering. This sets out the challenges we have identified to enabling greater patient choice at the end of life, and what we envisage as the way forward.

You can read our Policy Manifesto here.

In this section we report on research we’ve undertaken and commissioned:

Knowledge of End of Life Rights and Choices - YouGov Poll (2013)

Divided in Dying - a report on whether our loved ones are dying well or badly (2013)

An Analysis of Calls to the Compassion in Dying End-of-Life Rights Information Line (2013)

A secondary analysis of narrative interviews with patients about experiences of living with terminal illness (2012)
