Among the key themes to be discussed will be:

• To what degree can the timber industry contribute towards, reducing emissions from the built environment, while preserving biodiversity, and providing support for the rural economy, manufacturing and construction?

• What needs to be done in order to reach the required figures for new sustainable house-building, and what role should timber play?

• What lessons are there to be learnt from overseas?
