The Mineral Products Association refreshes ‘Make the Link’ Campaign with New Video

MPA is refreshing its long running campaign to raise awareness of the industry and the contribution it makes to the economy and our quality of life. It has produced a new film, ‘Make the Link to Mineral Products’, which is now freely available on its website and social media platforms. This showcases industry achievements across the board and supports them with key industry facts and statistics. Further tools are planned for release over the coming months to help its members communicate and inform local stakeholders.

Nigel Jackson MPA’s Chief Executive said:

“Our campaign has helped the industry make progress in recent years in raising awareness of the role the sector plays in the economy and the excellent work our members do.

We are finalising a new vision for the sector and the key priorities that will enable us to achieve it and our refreshed ‘Make the Link’ campaign has a vital role to play in making sure we deliver. Whilst we have made good progress with our professional stakeholders in linking mineral resources to our products in use whether in schools, roads, hospitals and other key infrastructure, there is still a massive lack of awareness in the public at large about ‘where things come from’ particularly non energy minerals. We are determined to keep ‘banging the drum’ for the sector so that the essential role we play is better understood and supported. We hope this video will be shared as widely as possible.”
