Government Departments:

Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs

Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board - Hayley Campbell-Gibbons to become a member from 1st November.

Ministry of Justice

HM Courts and Tribunal Service - Lakh Jemmett appointed to the Board.

Local Authorities:

Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council – John Sellgren left as Chief Executive, had been suspended since November.

Newham Council - Katherine Kerswell appointed as Interim Chief Executive.

Gedling Borough Council – Karen Bradford appointed as Chief Executive.

By-election Result 9th August

Cornwall Council – Mark Formosa elected for Newquay Treviglas – Conservative Gain from Liberal Democrats. (Paul Summers died).


Trade Associations

Royal Institute of British Architects – Alan Jones elected to replace Ben Derbyshire as President from 1st September 2019.

Association for Project Management – Debbie Dore appointed as Chief Executive.

College of Policing - Clare Minchington, Ian Wylie and Jackie Smith appointed as independent members of the board.

Interest Groups

London South Bank University – Simon Hughes to become Chancellor on 1st November.

Cats Protection – James Yeates to become Chief Executive.

Action on Hearing Loss – Mark Atkinson to become Chief Executive.

Relate – Aidan Jones to become Chief Executive on 3rd September.

RSPCA – Lewis Coghlin named as Director of Income Generation from 8th October.


Teneo Blue Rubicon – Simon Jackson joined as Associate Director.

Public First – Nick Varley joined as Director.
